Well, it’s been around three weeks since I last posted up a photo – sorry about that! I’ve had a busy few weeks toing and froing from the WW1 battlefields of France and Belgium with tour groups, beginning with a party of Australians visiting France for Anzac Day, and ending just this weekend with a family group who were following in the footsteps of two of their ancestors. It’s been both very interesting, and a real privilege to accompany them all.
I’m now back in London for a spell, and today I am off out for a photoshoot with a client in the city. So in that vein, I thought that today I’d pick an iconic London photo, showing part of the magnificent piazza at Covent Garden. The view looks down one of the pillared arcades, where the light is subdued, and broken up by the regular punctuation of the columns. People drift across the view as they pass between the market itself and the daylight of the outside world.
