New York traffic

London yesterday, New York today – in photos at least, if not in reality!  I’ve only been to New York City a couple of times, but there is always something to see if you just relax and observe.  I guess our traditional view of traffic in New York is long queues of cars at intersections, or flashes of bright yellow from the taxi cabs.  So when I spotted this digger, loaded with hardware and powering its way through the city streets, I thought it was a bit unusual, and too good an image to miss.
