Water feature

Water cascades down in a spiral, tumbling over the propeller-like wings of a fountain sculpture in today’s image, which was taken at the magnificent gardens of Barnards Farm in Essex.  There are a number of stunning sculptures in the grounds, but this is one of my favourites, as the water surges from the top of the fountain, softly caresses the stark lines of the metal as it falls, and then pirouettes off the stones at the base.  The gardens are open as part of the National Garden Scheme, so you can go along and enjoy the sculptures and gardens for yourself whilst also supporting a good cause.
