Lamps in situ

Judging from the social media feedback, yesterday’s art deco lamps proved a popular choice, so I thought I’d follow up and end the week with a photo of them “in situ”!  Today’s shot is a wide-angle view of Freemasons’ Hall, looking towards the main doors which, owing to the unusual shape of the site, actually sit on the corner.  The clock tower looms tall over the road junction, while the busy day-to-day hubbub of London rushes by.

If you’d like to see more of this art deco building, they have very regular tours, with more details on the website of the United Grand Lodge of England.
