A place to sit

Today’s picture is an old one, but I like it.  In fact, I took it sufficiently long ago that I cannot recall exactly where it is, other than that it’s in Britain and I think on the south coast.

But the precise location is not really the point – it’s all about the vista.  As I walked along the cliff top path, this spot looked so appealing – I can’t remember many benches with a view quite like this one, with the lush greenery in the foreground, the ships and yachts weaving patterns across the calm harbour beyond, and the miles of ocean stretching away behind them.

To me, it looked like a pretty good place to stop and sit.
